IC Computer Labs

Policies

Before using the computer labs during drop-in hours, students must login with their UCSBnetID and password using the Lab Sign-In application on each computer's desktop. Each quarter you must accept the lab policies and select the courses you are using the labs for.

  • You must be a registered UCSB student.

  • Cell phone discussions are not allowed in the lab; please take your cell phone conversation outside.

  • You must be courteous of others in the lab. Please keep discussions at a low volume.

  • No food or drink is allowed in the lab at any time.

  • No animals are allowed in the lab at any time.

  • No bicycles or roller blades are allowed in the lab at any time.

  • No notices or fliers may be hung anywhere on the premises without the management's prior consent.

  • Only software supplied by IC may be used in the lab.

  • Anyone caught damaging IC property or making illegal copies of software will be detained and reported to the police.

  • IC reserves the right to ban, or restrict access to, anyone who violates these rules, disrupts the lab in anyway, or fails to act in a courteous and professional manner.

  • These labs may be monitored by Closed Circuit (cc) cameras.
